Here is link to a story about the UN demanding money. I think it is ballsy of them to expect us to give them a loan where we would pay the intest on. I think the President and Congress should tell them to go to hell. THis is ridicoulus. The UN has proven to be ineffective, they are a good charity organization but suck at policing the world. I think all the UN countries should be made to pay an equal and far share.

Judge: NYC Illegally Fired Firefighters, Cop Who Paraded in Blackface
The city violated the First Amendment (search) rights of two firefighters and a police officer when it fired them for riding on a parade float in blackface (search) in 1998, a judge ruled Tuesday. U.S. District Judge John E. Sprizzo said the government "may not prohibit the expression of an idea simply because a segment of society finds it offensive."

Quick reply to Adam. Once people started noticing that the media had a liberal slant, the liberals started yelling about the conservative slant. Mainly because more people were watching Fox News than any of the networks or CNN, and they didn't like it. Also, a radio program with Al Gore as the host would be extremely boring. But I'll bet it goes on NPR if it goes on. They seem to need more liberals ont he roster. Except not.
